Fiction Writing Workshop at Lexington Community Education

This course is for anyone interested in writing fiction. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting or have been working on a project and would like some feedback. The first three weeks are designed to help you produce new material. We’ll do in class and take home writing exercises that focus on character, setting and dialogue. The second half of the course will help you mold and edit your ideas into completed pieces. We’ll critique your work in a constructive environment and offer concrete ideas to move your writing forward. We’ll also look at published fiction and discuss publishing your work.
