Since the age of fifteen poetry has been my ruling passion and I have never intentionally undertaken any task or formed any relationship that seemed inconsistent with poetic principles.

Join us for a week-long introduction to the pottery wheel! We will start with the basics of centering, coning, and creating small bowls and cups. Students (especially those with prior experience) may advance into a broader range of tableware. We will use a variety of lead-free glazes to add surface decoration to projects. Please wear old clothes, or bring an apron, and prepare to get messy! Tuition is slightly higher for this program due to increased expenses. Class size is limited to 8 students. Rachel Durocher teaches Ceramics, Foundations of Art, Computer Animation and Sculpture at Lexington High School.
