Christopher Rymes

Christopher Rymes earned his Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and is currently working as a professional trumpet player and private instructor in the greater Boston area. Chris can be seen performing with Boston area show band Groove Alliance, Introduction – The Chicago Experience (a Chicago tribute band), Quintessential Brass, and Veronica Robles & Her Mariachi. As a freelance artist Chris has played in pit orchestras for musicals at several theaters throughout New England. He has also worked as a theater trumpet player for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Chris has performed with Blood, Sweat and Tears and the Glenn Miller Orchestra and has performed on stage with world renown artists such as Peter Erskin, Lewis Nash, Steve Smith, John Fedchock, Clay Jenkins, Eguie Castrillo and Larry Harlow. He enjoys working on studio projects, as well, where he has recorded on several albums ranging in style from big band, jazz, fusion, pop, rock and mariachi.

Chris has studied with respected musicians such as Lin Biviano, Dave Sheetz, Jay Daly, Tiger Okoshi, Ken Cervenka, Jeff Stout, Charlie Lewis and Phil Wilson. In additional to Lexington, Chris teaches privately in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
