If you have been practicing in a Beginning Yoga class for a while, this is a class to build on those skills and refine poses. The class will give you an opportunity to deepen your practice. A full range of postures will allow you to continue to build strength, flexibility and stamina. Breathing exercises will help to focus the body and mind and alleviate stress. Return to your daily activities with renewed vitality, creating an overall sense of balance, well being and ease, as well as a greater sense of body/mind awareness. Wear comfortable clothes and have ready a mat and towel.
Helen Theodosiou has a Social Work and an Expressive Arts Therapies degree. She is a ERYT-500 yoga teacher and is a certified yoga therapist
(C-IAYT) with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has been teaching yoga for 20 years and enjoys working with beginners of all ages, seniors and those who come to yoga with challenges. She also has a private yoga therapy practice.
