Class will meet December 19, April 10 and 24.
Zumba® is a cardio/dance fitness program that features Latin and world rhythms. Students will enjoy a range of genres from salsa and flamenco to belly dance and merengue. Each class incorporates the concept of interval training by alternating fast and slow rhythms for one-hour of aerobic exercise. NO dance knowledge or experience is required: Zumba is for everybody and every body! We are here to move together in a space where all are welcome.
The only requirements are sneakers, a smile and a bottle of water (a towel might be a good idea). This class is for students to participate comfortably at their own pace and level–wherever they may be on their fitness journey. According to the Mayo Clinic: “aerobic exercise reduces health risks, strengthens your heart and boosts your mood”. The Zumba® formula is simple: feel the music, have fun and dance like no one is watching.
