Designed primarily for students at the intermediate level who want to become more fluent in their ability to speak, read and write the Spanish language. ( It also may be useful to advanced students who want to reconnect with the language.) The course consists of three cycles where students progress through increasingly more advanced language. It places emphasis on vocabulary development and oral proficiency through thematic lessons, and solidifies the use of key grammatical structures. The students also read a variety of stories and listen to songs that will become the basis for discussions and becoming more aware of the cultural diversity of Spain, Latin America and the hispanic / latino communities of the USA.
