Ever wonder what residents of 18th century Lexington ate?  This vacation week The Lexington Historical Society will offer a virtual 18th century cooking class!  Participants will be introduced to the wonderful world of history through our cooking class, Colonial Kids, exploring the meals that Lexingtonians enjoyed during their daily lives. A few featured recipes will include syllabub, Johnny cakes and much more! An appropriate level of student maturity is required as this course may involve the use of knives, a cooktop, a microwave and/or an oven. A supervising adult must be in the house to provide any needed support. Please note: Parents are responsible for purchasing/providing supplies for this class and a master list with all the ingredients for the week will be emailed prior to the sessions. Modifications are available for allergies/dietary restrictions.

Class will meet Tuesday-Friday, February 22, 23, 24, 25 on Zoom.
