Bring a new or working project for guidance and hand holding. Learn to knit a gauge, a new technique, or to seam and block your project. The instructor, who has been teaching knitting for fifteen years, is familiar with knitting in the round, magic loop, cabling without a cable needle, color work and lace. Bring your patterns, yarn, needles, unfinished projects and questions for a morning of knitting. Class size limited to 8.

Lexington Community Education Conference Room, 146 Maple Street, access via 328 Lowell St. The LCE Conference Room is in the Old Harrington/Lexington Public Schools Central Office building. We are located in the back corner. Look for the Blue Awning listing “Lexington Community Education”.

Kerry Keohane learned to knit as a child in Canada and has been knitting for over 35 years and teaching knitting for fifteen.


In accordance with the Lexington Public Schools, Lexington Community Education classes, events, and lessons will not take place from (at least) 3/13-5/4/20. Private music lessons and some group adult classes may be able to use online digital platforms in order to continue with lessons and learning when applicable and appropriate to the topic of study.
