This introductory financial literacy session is designed to equip participants with a foundational understanding of personal financial planning and its critical role in achieving long-term financial security. Participants will gain insight into essential topics including savings accumulation, cash flow optimization, debt management, risk protection, health-related financial considerations, asset growth strategies, long-term goal planning, and Social Security analysis. Delivered through seven structured workshops: Building Savings and Wealth, Increasing Cash Flow and Debt Management, Preparing with Proper Protection, Your Health and Wealth, Understanding Asset and Accumulation Strategies, Fulfilling Long-Term Goals, and Social Security Analysis (RSSA) – the program offers a practical, strategic approach to financial education. By simplifying complex financial concepts into actionable knowledge, this session helps participants make smarter financial decisions, build a secure future for their families, and ultimately make their money work better for them. 

Hellen Chen is a Senior Marketing Director with a strong passion for empowering others through financial education. With a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology and a background in healthcare and service roles, including PCA, PT aide, and supervisory positions, Hellen Chen brings a compassionate, real-world perspective to financial literacy. Having joined the financial platform at just 18, she is committed to continuously growing their own financial knowledge while helping individuals and families across Greater Boston gain the tools and confidence to take control of their financial future.
