In this 4-part workshop, we will introduce the personal finance tools that your high schooler is going to need as they start to make independent financial decisions. Students will get hands-on practice and experience with pay stubs, banking, savings, credit cards, credit score, taxes and more. This class will use Nearpod (an award-winning student engagement platform) as the teaching platform and include practical discussions, activities, games and educational video clips. Attendees will walk out with a list of financial to-dos that will give their high school graduation checklist a head start.

Sumeit earned her Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University, MBA from Babson College and was recently featured by Babson for fighting the gender investment gap. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Delhi University.
