Assisting the college bound student-athlete continues to be a complex process. While getting into the best college remains the same objective for all students, the process and timetable, with the ongoing health pandemic still creates uncertainty. However, research continues to show that being a student-athlete, regardless of gender or sport, remains a key to increasing the chances of being accepted into college.† This course will prepare parents to identify their student-athlete’s preferences and then match these preferences to colleges offering your child’s sport which share these same attributes. The coaches and admissions offices of these selected colleges will become the targets of an outreach email campaign to make each school aware of your child’s academic and athletic abilities. Making colleges aware of the student-athlete’s interest and maintaining this communication during the recruitment period increases the likelihood of your child being recruited and accepted. Actual case studies will show parents and students that using our process will assist them making objective, fact-based decisions to harness this process and leverage their child’s athletic ability to improve academic selection outcomes.
