Description

We will begin the lesson with a short practice of the basic strokes of Chinese calligraphy which form the basis of Chinese brush painting.  Afterwards, we shall apply the brush methods for painting winter images and scenes such as the bittersweet plant with the cardinal; a snowy landscape with the pine and the crane; and or flowers from forced bulbs such as the amaryllis and the narcissus. Beginning and returning students are welcome.
