Wool Felt Making – Spring

Course Code: AFELT-1-1 Category: Tags: ,

We will explore both wet and dry (needle) felting techniques through weekly projects. This class is suitable for adults with some previous felt making experience, but beginners are welcome. Each week includes instruction and a demonstration as projects are introduced and help is available as needed during class time. It is likely that students may need to work on their own to complete some projects between classes. A generous packet of supplies will be provided and  a materials fee of $30 is to be paid prior to the start of the series. Arrangements will be made for materials distribution prior to the start of the class, and can be shipped if needed.

Elizabeth Stubbs has been an artist all her life, working in a variety of mediums.  For the past twenty years she has been exploring felt making as an art form and sharing it with others through classes and workshops at several locations including the Winsor School, Waldorf School of Lexington, ArtSpan Lexington, Umbrella Community Arts and with private students.
