Leqing Wang
Leqing Wang is a Chinese violinist born in Zhengzhou. She began her musical journey at the age of four and has since developed into a remarkable musician and performer. She has performed in prestigious concert halls across Asia, Europe, and the USA. Leqing has earned recognition for her exceptional skills as a musician. She has won top prizes in competitions such as the grand prize in the Bach Competition of Boston University, Winner of the Soloists’ Competition at BU, and Special Prize of Jury of Ravel Prix by Fondation Maurice Ravel. She will perform Walton Violin Concerto with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 2023.
Leqing has completed her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music at the University of the Arts Berlin and is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at Boston University with Professor Peter Zazofsky. With her extensive educational background and passion for teaching, Leqing has successfully helped her students achieve great success in their musical careers.
As a dedicated teacher, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with her students and helping them reach their full potential. She believes music is a powerful tool for self-expression and encourages her students to explore their creative potential. She strives to help her students develop a solid technical foundation and a deep understanding of music theory. World-renowned conservatories, such as Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media, and New England Conservatory Pre-College, have accepted her students. Leqing is committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians and helping them reach their highest potential.
