Build models of 3D bridges! We will use craft sticks, safe “Super Cool” (ultra low temp) glue and glue guns, and paper templates (no Exacto-type blades needed.) While exploring engineering designs and concepts, we will use templates to build several bridges, such as a covered bridge, a truss bridge, and an arch bridge. Bring out your inner engineer and exercise your eye for design!
Class is co-taught by John Chamberlain, an 8th grade English teacher at Clarke, and Lorraine Grosslight, an Engineering teacher at Clarke.
