It’s more important than ever to go green. Explore your artsy side and be kind to the earth and use recycled materials! Get creative with things you already have on-hand to create recycled crafts. Find items like cereal boxes, paper towel and toilet paper rolls, milk jugs, cardboard, egg cartons and more to create. Arts and crafts are for all skill levels, so no experience required!

Elizabeth Lena is a third grade teacher at the Harrington School.

Supplies to be provided by parent:
– Coffee filters
– Children’s Paints
– Inexpensive paint brushes
– Pipe cleaners
– Old puzzles
– Tape
– Cardboard, paper towel/toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, etc.
– Foam decoration shapes
– Construction paper
– glue
– Markers
– Wine corks
– Paper plates
– Empty water bottles
– Yarn
– Decorations like googly eyes, glitter, etc.
