Explorers create their own passport and suitcase to travel! We will visit a country on each continent of the world comparing and contrasting our daily lives to people that live in Brazil, Scotland, Antarctica, Egypt and Australia. Explorers will learn about the traditions, currency, and flags of different countries gaining an appreciation for cultures similar and different to their own and will also view short clips of native animals in their natural habitats. While learning about Oceana/Australia, Explorers will learn the difference between a country and a continent (and why Australia is an exception to the rule) and learn games and songs from Australia while learning about the sea turtles that travel in The Great Barrier Reef. Learn about urban life in Sydney and, just outside of Sydney, wander the forest and and see footage of kangaroos and koalas too. Sign up for adventure and Let’s Explore the World, Remotely!
