Come learn everything you need to know about space in this virtual course! In Space Explorers, we will learn about astronauts, planets, the moon, stars, and constellations. Each day, remote learning plans will be sent out (similar to what your children are experiencing now) and children will also have a daily opportunity to do a Google Hangout with classmates to form acquaintances, ask questions, and interact with their teacher. Projects include making foil-printed moons and constellation artwork! We’ll also enjoy a few videos from National Geographic Kids and the Magic School Bus. We will incorporate reading, writing, math, and social-emotional skills in all of our learning to become well-rounded Space Explorers!

Meghan Teed is a Kindergarten teacher at the Harrington School.
