PROGRAM LOCATIONS<\/b>
\nLexplorations classes will meet at the Hastings Elementary School (7 Crosby Road), and Lexington High School (251 Waltham Street). The location for each individual class is noted in the class description.<\/p>\n

DROP OFF AND PICK UP<\/strong>
\nTo limit the number of students entering\/exiting the elementary school building at the same time this summer, Lexplorations will have staggered drop-off and pickup times. Detailed drop off\/pick up directions will be included in the parent packet that will be emailed prior to the start of Lexplorations.<\/p>\n

CLASS SIZE\u00a0<\/strong>
\nMost classes have a minimum enrollment of 6 students and a maximum of 12 to 15 students.
\nWe will notify you if your child\u2019s program must be canceled due to low enrollment. Students in canceled classes often find other Lexplorations programs of interest in which to enroll.
\nIf a program is filled, you can add your child to a waitlist on our website. We will contact you if a space becomes available.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM CONTENT<\/strong>
\nPrograms that list multiple weeks are the same in content unless specifically noted in the description. Teachers are subject to change as a result of unforeseen circumstances<\/p>\n

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND WITHDRAWALS<\/strong>
\nAll changes to a student\u2019s registration\/ schedule must be completed by email correspondence and sent to: Lexplorations@lexingtonma.org.\u00a0 A $15 \u201cswitch fee\u201d will be charged for each change to a child\u2019s registration.<\/p>\n

All tuition is refunded if Lexplorations cancels a class.<\/p>\n

If you withdraw from a program prior to May 1, tuition will be refunded minus a $50 per class, non-refundable fee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you withdraw from a program between May 1 and May 31, 50% of tuition and a $50 non-refundable fee will be forfeited per class.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be no refunds issued after June 1 for any reason, including illness or injury.<\/span><\/p>\n

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE\u00a0<\/b>
\nLimited financial assistance (up to a 50% reduction\/$500 family maximum) is available for Lexington residents. Financial assistance eligibility must be established prior to registration. Please call our office for more details.<\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS<\/strong>
\nAFTER CARE PROVIDED BY KIDSBOROUGH AT LEXPLORATIONS FOR GRADES K-5 Kidsborough will be providing enrichment and fun between the hours of 3:00-6:00 pm at Hastings. During the school year, Kidsborough is the LPS approved vendor\/provider of after-school enrichment-based curriculum programs to elementary school students.<\/p>\n

HEALTH<\/strong>
\nThe Lexplorations nurse is stationed at Hastings but is available by phone and \u201con-call\u201d for programs at LHS. The nurse\u2019s hours are from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
