Have you always enjoyed playing with words or even writing poems of your own? Maybe you’ve always wanted to write more poetry, but tend to have a tough time getting started. Well, look no further! In this class, you will be inspired by exploring terrific published poems, and creating shared poems alongside other passionate poets within our small group. We will learn about lots of different forms of poetry and review different poetic techniques from alliteration to onomatopoeia. By the end of the week, you will have written loads of cool poems and created a personal poetry anthology to treasure for years to come.
