Description
Come learn how to turn household trash into brand new treasures! We will be exercising our creative thinking to give old recyclable materials new life. We will have the opportunity to turn commonly discarded items into functional art projects, and will design and build unique creations. Some of the projects include paper towel roll mirrors, odds and ends wind chimes, magazine bowls, and plastic bottle vases. You will be able to bring home all of your amazing creations to show family and friends! We will also discuss the importance of recycling, and will go over some easy recycling tips. Join us to combine the fun of arts and crafts with a growing environmental consciousness! Materials will be provided, but students are more than welcome to bring in recyclables from home as well!
