Description

Future engineering and imagineering students take note! Students aspiring to go to engineering and other challenging schools benefit from hands-on experience working with materials, along with their intellectual know-how. Using super-cool glue, craft sticks, and larger wood pieces, we will start with some geometric shapes and then, in groups or individually, use our observational powers and measuring skills to build larger-scale projects, either ancient such as a Mayan Pyramid or a Greek Temple, or modern and extravagant like the Hoover Dam, Panama Canal’s locks, or the International Space Station.

John Chamberlain is a retired English teacher.
