Description

Bring out your inner engineer and exercise your eye for design! We will explore engineering designs and concepts and use templates to build several bridges, such as a covered bridge, truss bridge and arch bridge. We will also examine the architecture and proportions of the elegant Eiffel Tower and, again using our engineering designs and concepts, we will build soaring replicas and towers out of popsicle/ craft sticks, and the same “Super Cool” (ultra-low temp) glue and glue guns. Learn the importance of careful planning, supportive trusses and teamwork in this VERY “hands-on” class.

John Chamberlain is a retired English teacher.
