Description
This course will utilize the FDIC Money Smart curriculum to educate youth about financial literacy. Students will participate in a variety of games including roleplay scenarios, board games, mazes, and obstacle courses to provide alternative ways of learning and help reinforce traditional classroom experiences. The goals of Financial Literacy for Youth is to provide students with basic knowledge about money, financial institutions, budgeting, financial values, and future planning. The aim is for students to leave this course with practical knowledge that will help them to make safe and healthy financial choices for their entire lives. This course has limited screen time, and screens will only be utilized as an educational tool.
