Green Thumbs Welcome! (July 27 – July 31)

Description

This lively week invites rising 2nd and 3rd graders to discover the beautiful, blooming, and wonderful world of plants. We will focus on a new theme each day with hands-on arts and crafts and nature walks. We will explore the growth cycles and function of flowers, trees, fruits, and veggies – paired with fun creative plant science art projects. We will paint garden pots, make leaf prints, and construct sun catchers. By the end of the week, we’ll have a colorful collection of plant-inspired art to take home as well as a new appreciation for nature!
