It’s All Fun and Games! (July 20 – July 24)

Description

Winning is more about enjoying the balance of give and take than it is about bragging rights, or feeling like a sore loser. We will play really fun card, board, and large group games with equanimity and true enjoyment as object and outcome. Lessons will be provided about winning and losing and how we might understand and act depending on outcomes. Sportsmanship, teamwork, turn taking, and understanding camaraderie and collaboration will all be emphasized and experienced throughout the week. Games will include indoor and outdoor team challenges like obstacle courses or scavenger hunts that can be made accessible to students of all abilities.
