Description
Piano is a foundational instrument that allows for multi-level skill building in the areas of tactile and functional fine motor, listening and communication, pattern recognition, abstract conceptual computation, confidence building and socialization. Additionally, the piano offers an opportunity to develop appreciation of musical history, harmony and rhythm. Most importantly playing the piano can be a lot of fun!
This summer, Lexplorations offers an afternoon Four Private Lesson Piano Package that provides beginning/intermediate students the chance to try their hand at the keys 1:1 with a piano instructor. Lessons will be 30 minutes each and scheduled to take place between the hours of 3:00-6:00 pm at Harrington Elementary School. The four lesson package takes place with lessons twice per week over the course of two consecutive weeks on a Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday schedule. Lexplorations Week 1 lessons will take place on Monday and Wednesday only. Spaces are limited. Students do not have to be enrolled in other Lexplorations or Kidsborough at Lexplorations programs to participate in the Piano Package. Lessons must take place in consecutive order, day/date order is not able to be changed, and there are no make-ups.
