Museum Makers (July 6 – July 10)

Description

Step into the shoes of a museum curator! In this exciting, hands-on artistic vision quest for the best we will explore what it takes to create a museum exhibit from start to finish. Investigate real and imagined artifacts, develop creative displays, and tell the stories behind the items you curate. Whether it’s ancient tools, scientific inventions, cultural treasures, or even everyday objects from our own lives, we will learn how to research, label, and present collections like real museum professionals. The week will culminate in a “Museum Showcase” where we will present our exhibits to families and fellow Lexplorations friends.
