ONLINE CLASS OFFERINGS ARE NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!
As we move through this time of physical distancing, Lexington Community Education is proud to offer a robust array of online community learning opportunities, using a live internet/video conference platform that can be accessed from your computer or internet equipped device at home. While some of the spring classes (and most of the spring special events) listed in our printed catalog are having to be rescheduled, each of the classes that you currently see listed on this website are being offered using the secure, user friendly, and interactive learning platform called ZOOM. A secure “invitation to class” link will be emailed to you after you register, and before the start of your first class.
Whether it be learning a language, studying literature, writing memoir, or taking up a musical instrument with one of our private music instructors lexingtoncommunityed.org/music-instrument-lessons/, we hope that you will choose to spend some of the springtime learning and sharing with us. Please peruse our online offerings, and register online using this website (our physical office is currently closed in accordance with the Lexington Public Schools) for the classes of your choice.
We are pleased that so many of our world-class instructors are able to continue offering excellence in community education online this spring, and we thank you for your support during this time. Our hope is that the diverse selection of topics and teachers assembled here provide comfort, community, and the continued joy of learning together. Our office staff is online during our regular business hours and glad to answer any questions, or put you in touch with one of our excellent teachers. Email the office at LCE@lexingtonma.org.
In the midst of many closings, we offer you a spring bouquet of possibilities for education and human connection.
Looking forward, and in the spirit of springtime,
Craig Hall, Director
Lexington Community Education
