Maria Dupree

Maria Dupree is a violist and violin/viola educator based in Boston. She frequently performs with both the Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra and the Horizon Ensemble, in addition to freelancing in the Greater Boston area. She holds a B.M. in Viola Performance from Ithaca College, where she also studied music education, and a M.M. in Viola Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. As a teacher, she strives to foster a love for music, catering to each student’s interests and learning styles, while placing equal emphasis on developing technique and self-expression.
