Skye Dearborn
Skye Dearborn is a dedicated and versatile trombonist with a Master of Music from Boston University and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan. She has performed in a wide range of settings, including the 62nd Annual GRAMMYs Awards and musical pits on Broadway, and with ensembles like the Richmond Symphony, South Dakota Symphony, Vermont Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, and Boston Festival Orchestra, among numerous others.
Skye has also had the privilege of working with world-renowned artists such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Valery Gergiev, Audra MacDonald, Nas, and Lizzo. As a participant in prestigious festivals, including Spoleto Festival USA, National Youth Orchestra of the USA, Texas Music Festival, Chautauqua Institution, and Kennedy Center Summer Music Institute, she is fortunate to be able to draw upon many diverse musical and educational experiences. Passionate about both performing and teaching, Skye hopes to inspire, guide and support her young trombone students in an individualized and comprehensive way.
