Description
This course is designed for heritage Chinese students who have completed Level 1 or possess basic skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Mandarin. Building on the foundation established in Level 1, students will continue to expand their vocabulary, master more complex sentence patterns, and improve their Chinese character recognition and writing abilities through engaging texts and interactive activities. Using the Heritage Chinese Level 2 (MLP-2) textbook and practice book, students will deepen their understanding of Chinese grammar and culture, while developing stronger communication skills in reading and writing.
Prerequisite: Completion of Heritage Chinese Level 1 or equivalent proficiency in Mandarin reading and writing.
Next Level: Students who complete this class will be prepared for Heritage Chinese Level 3.
