Lexington Community Education provides an optional program of convenient and reasonably priced individual music lessons with highly qualified professional musician-teachers. Lessons are held at Lexington High School after 3:30pm, Monday through Friday and may be scheduled into the evening. Students may choose the length of weekly lessons that best suits their budget, time commitments and musical needs. We welcome beginners as well as advanced students, of all ages, from every town.
The following instruments are available for individual study: Baritone Horn (Euphonium), Bass, Bassoon, Cello, Clarinet, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Erhu, Flute, French Horn, Guitar, Guzheng, Oboe, Percussion (Drums/Xylophone), Piano, Saxophone, Sitar, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, Ukulele, Upright Bass, Viola and Violin.
There is an annual registration fee of $30 for the first child, and $20 for each additional family member.
Returning Students should contact their teacher directly to set up a time to start lessons. If you are a NEW student this form will help us begin the process of matching you or your child with a teacher, location and schedule. Upon receipt, teachers will contact parents to arrange a lesson time. Once LCE has been notified that a lesson schedule has been arranged between the student and the teacher, a secure payment link will be sent to complete the payment.
