Description
Robert Frost, our country’s most famous poet, grappled with tragic realities in his personal life and his poetry. Yet in a naturalistic style, he rose about the mundane to write, in his own words, “poetry as the first form of understanding.” Together, we’ll explore his world and a dozen of his poems. We’ll pay particular attention to two poems which Frost claimed were frequently misinterpreted: “Stopping by Woods…” and the poem considered to be the most misunderstood poem in America, “The Road Not Taken,”
