Description

This class aims to provide an immersive experience in the culture of Venezuela and other Latin American countries. Students will have the opportunity to learn Venezuelan recipes while also practicing the Spanish language and expanding their vocabulary in kitchen terms and ingredients specific to the world of cooking. Recipes will include arepas, empanadas, shredded beef, and Venezuelan chicken with rice.

A $25 ingredient fee is payable to the instructor at the time of the class.

Emilia Montero is a dedicated culinary enthusiast and educator hailing from Venezuela. With a solid foundation in Chemistry and Biology education, she spent numerous years as a teacher and then school director. However, her passion for the culinary arts have always been an integral part of her life. She finds joy in experimenting with new recipes and discovering healthier cooking methods.
