- LEXPLORATIONS 2008: Summer Children's Program
The complete LEXPLORATIONS 2008 catalog is now online. Great new classes! Returning favorites! All our children's programs begin at 9 am and end at 3pm. Classes will be held at Fiske Elementary School on Adams St. To register, please print and complete registration form and mail or fax to LCE. All families will receive confirmation, helpful info, and an invoice for summer registrations by the beginning of June.
PLEASE NOTE that the LCE office will be located at the FISKE SCHOOL for the month of July.
- OFFICE HOURS in Spring 2008
PLEASE NOTE: The LCE office is open from 10 am till 4 pm from now until June 27th. We are closed on Friday. The office is located in the main office of LHS. LCE will no longer be open late at night because the Spring evening classes have ended, and the Lexington Public School buildings close early once public school has ended.

For those who love AMERICAN GIRL DOLL, we have just added ONE additional week of this exciting program, taught by Cara Dwyer. From July 28 to August 1st, you may join this class for grades K thru 5. If interested, please call LCE immediately.
- DRIVER'S EDUCATION PROGRAM
The LHS driver's education program will resume in September 2008. Please check back on this website around mid-July for the new schedule. Registration for this coming academic year (2008/2009) for driver's ed will begin at the end of July.

Who we are...
LCE is a self-sustaining, integral part of the Lexington Public Schools,
committed to bringing lifelong learning to all. We provide practical,
creative, and fun educational opportunities at reasonable cost. You do
not need to be a resident of Lexington to enroll in our classes.
Courses:
LCE offers a wide variety of programs for people of all ages. We have
adult education programs in the Fall, Winter and Spring. The Fall semester
begins at the end of September and runs through December. Winter classes
begin at the end of January, and run through March. Spring programs begin
after the April school vacation and run through June. There are no adult
classes offered during July and August.

WHERE TO FIND LCE:
The office of Lexington Community Education is located in the main
Lexington High School office at 251 Waltham Street, Lexington. This office
is open from 2 pm till 9 pm, Monday through Thursday from September through
June.
During the summer children's program in July, the LCE office is open from
8:30 am till 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Lexington High School is located at the corner of Waltham Street and
Worthen Road. The new parking lot and main entrance is located on Worthen
Road. The LCE office is on the first floor of the main building of LHS.
