Does running, jumping, playing, music making and throwing jumbo dice sound like fun? Then Math & Games is the course for you! We'll explore geometry by building two and three dimensional shapes using glow sticks, carefully measure and make our own instruments, have relay races composing and decomposing numbers to 100 and so much more! Mathematicians will be working on building their own math game all week and get to see math come alive in this fun and active course. The week will culminate in Math Olympics! Some activities include Race to 100, Koosh toss, addition and subtraction bowling, and presenting and playing our own created games. Jaclyn Carlozzi is a second grade teacher at Estabrook.
