If you enjoy art and computer games, join us for an action-packed week solving visual puzzles and creating original 2-D and 3-D designs. Draw and build beautiful, full-color geometric creations, including fantasy architecture and amusement parks. You will use conventional art tools and painting and drawing software to design beautiful fractals and more. You will also enjoy figuring out all the angles as you play in our daily miniature golf tournament on the computer. Gerry Goolkasian is a retired LPS math teacher.
About the instructor:
Mr. Goolkasian has been teaching for 26 years in the Lexington Public Schools. He currently teaches math at Clarke Middle School. In the past, he has also taught computer science, computer graphics and visual arts at both the high school and the middle school. Mr. G. loves to ride the waves on a boogey board, build LARGE sand castles, and once played basketball against the Harlem Magicians (like the Harlem Globetrotters).
