Since the dawn of humankind, we’ve been making and playing instruments. Some have strings, some have keys, and now some have touchpads and circuit boards. The world of electronic instruments has been evolving rapidly over the last 50 years, and we’re amidst another period of revolution where electronic instruments are becoming more fun and expressive than ever before. Through the lens of Ableton Live and Ableton Push, we’ll be exploring the various types of electronic instruments, how to play them, and how they’re revolutionizing the way humans interact with music.
Miles David is a genre-bending electronic music artist and performer operating under the pseudonym “dreamcorp.”. Miles has been producing and performing for over 10 years being at the forefront of new electronic instruments and the internet music scene. Miles has released 5 albums under the “dreamcorp.” project, garnering over 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 25 million streams. Currently studying at Berklee College of Music, Miles is pursuing a double major in Electronic Production and Design, as well as Electronic Performance. Miles will be the first ever graduate of the Electronic Performance major in Spring 2027.
