Pysanky Together

Celebrate Mother’s Day with creativity, tradition, and togetherness. Come with your mom, daughter, or someone special and spend meaningful time exploring the ancient Ukrainian art of Pysanky — the traditional wax-resist egg decorating technique. Using real eggs, beeswax, a kistka (stylus), candle, and colorful dyes, you’ll learn how to create your own beautiful designs while discovering the rich history and symbolism behind this cherished folk art. In this special Mother’s Day session, pairs will create matching or complementary Pysanky, sharing colors and motifs while keeping each egg uniquely personal. It’s a heartfelt experience that blends tradition, creativity, and love, leaving you with timeless keepsakes and unforgettable memories together. Please indicate if you are signing up for a single student or as a pair in your registration. Children ages 5+ are welcome to attend when accompanied by an adult. A $30 material fee per pair and $20 per solo registration material fee is payable to the instructor upon arrival.
