PreK Fun Mandarin (Ages 4-6)

Description

A playful and engaging introduction to Mandarin designed especially for 4-6 years old children for the whole school year. Through songs, stories, movement, games, hands-on crafts, sensory activities, and cultural celebrations, students are naturally immersed in a fun and supportive Mandarin-speaking environment.

This class focuses on building early listening and speaking skills while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and a positive connection to language learning. Children will learn everyday vocabulary and simple expressions related to themes such as greetings, colors, numbers, animals, family, food, seasons, and daily routines through age-appropriate interactive activities.

Lessons are designed to match the developmental needs of young learners, with an emphasis on movement, repetition, imagination, and social interaction. Teachers use a combination of visual aids, music, storytelling, role play, and guided play to help children absorb language naturally in meaningful contexts.

Students will also be introduced to Chinese culture through traditional festivals, crafts, songs, games, and cultural stories, creating a joyful early foundation for future Mandarin learning. No prior Mandarin experience is required.

Next Level: After completing this class, students will be ready to transition into MeiZhou Chinese Level K, where they will begin formal Pinyin instruction  along with foundational Chinese reading and writing development.
