An Intermediate Jazz Guitar Improvisation Workshop
$105.00 – $120.00Price range: $105.00 through $120.00
Description
Have you ever wanted to try to play a jazz chord melody on the guitar? Or improvise over the changes of a jazz tune? This is an opportunity to dive into the mechanics of jazz guitar. We will explore taking the melody of a single jazz standard tune and using the chords behind the melody to create a stand alone chord melody piece. At the same time we will discuss how to improvise over those same chords. It will be helpful to have an intermediate level of experience on the guitar with a fair facility with chords. Let’s jump in and have some fun with jazz guitar! Bring your acoustic or electric guitar and a small amp.
