Discover practical, easy-to-learn techniques from the rich tradition of Chinese wellness practices. This course introduces participants to a variety of self-care methods designed to support mobility, relaxation, body awareness, and overall well-being. Each session includes an introduction to the principles and applications of the featured technique,
followed by guided hands-on practice. Participants will learn skills they can safely incorporate into their daily wellness routines. Topics include guided movement; self-massage methods; Gua techniques; and therapeutic movement exercises. Participants will leave with practical techniques that can be used at home to support everyday health and well-being. No prior experience is required.
Wen Wen is a Massachusetts-licensed acupuncturist, senior Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, and educator based in Boston. She has over 27 years of clinical experience in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. From 2008 to 2020, she taught at the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University, specializing in Chinese herbal medicine, classical texts, and advanced acupuncture techniques. Her work integrates classical medical theory with modern clinical practice, with a focus on musculoskeletal and meridian disorders. She is an international lecturer, published researcher, and continuing education instructor for professional acupuncture organizations in the United States and Canada.
