An engaging, introductory improv class teaching dramatic and comedic skills to help you become more decisive, improve communication, sharpen awareness and listening, think more quickly, and overcome the fear of failure. This class of applied improv tenets requires no improv or acting background. In 6 weeks, attendees will share a supportive environment and: Learn how the improvisational foundation of ‘Yes, And’ improves collaboration.Discover tools to close communication gaps, and increase efficiency. Overcome anxieties around public speaking, in meetings with colleagues and clients alike. Improve listening skills by kicking away the voice of judgement.
Shiyanbade Animashaun is a creative and tech consultant. She enjoys solving complex problems and influencing people positively. She is the founder of KEAJO, a consulting firm primarily focused on solving problems for technical teams, with a unique mix of services and tools that blend technology, art, and education. Also Shiyanbade is a founding member of The Nova Comedy Collective, Via ImprovBoston, Catalyst Comedy, the Women in Comedy Festival, and more. She has performed in various corporate training, resident and indie improv casts. Shiyanbade has worked in storytelling / sketch teams, musicals, podcasts, and video productions. She has directed, produced, and taught various improv casts and has led executive training sessions, workshops and classes for 5000+ individuals of all ages.
