MeiZhou Chinese Level 2

Description

MeiZhou Chinese Level 2 is the whole school year for elementary students who have acquired foundational skills in Mandarin, including basic vocabulary, character recognition, and simple sentence patterns. Using the MeiZhou Chinese Level 2 textbook and practice workbook, this course helps students strengthen their reading and writing abilities while continuing to develop listening and speaking fluency.

Students will expand their vocabulary, read short stories, practice sentence construction, and begin to write simple paragraphs. Lessons are supported by interactive activities such as role play, songs, games, and cultural projects that reinforce learning and make class time engaging and fun. The course emphasizes correct character stroke order, sentence structure, and the ability to understand and use basic Chinese grammar in context.

Prerequisite: Completion of MeiZhou Chinese Level 1 or equivalent basic Mandarin reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Next Level: Students who complete Level 2 are recommended to continue with MeiZhou Chinese Level 3.

This class meets the entire school year from September 11, 2026 – June 11, 2027.
