Theater veterans Stephen Collins and Jerry Bisantz take us on a journey that examines the roles of a selection of American male characters from beloved scenes from the Great American Theater including The Odd Couple, I Hate Hamlet, and The Actor’s Nightmare, and songs from and Great American Songbook including Almost Like Being in Love, Cat’s in the Cradle, Guys and Dolls, and As Time Goes By. From comic to poignant, this fast-paced performance is sure to entertain – bringing back memories, and looking into the future.

Stephen Collins is an accomplished actor and literature professor, with over 20 years experience performing solo theatre pieces and literature lectures across New England. Originally from Cambridge, Ma, Stephen studied English at UMass Boston and pursued a career in sales, before returning to what he truly loves; performing and teaching. His solo shows include presentations on the life and writings of Herman Melville, Walt Whitman, William Shakespeare, Robert Frost, the theater of the 40s and 50s, Irish Poets and more. Jerry Bisantz is an actor, singer, theatrical producer, and playwright. Currently residing in Lowell, MA, Jerry has been active in the New England theater scene for the past thirty years. His live theatrical performances have been seen in many of the area’s regional theaters, including Speakeasy Stage Company, The Publick Theater, Worcester Foothills Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, Centa-Stage, The Lyric West, The Regent Theater, Image Theater Company, The Greater Lowell Music Theatre, Deertrees Theaters and Moonbox Productions. and The Back Alley Theater.
